Saybrook's Latest Video Content

How can mission-driven organizations communicate impact in a memorable and compelling fashion?

That is what social policy research organization MDRC did with the help of two new video narratives that Saybrook Partners developed in connection with MDRC's 50th anniversary this year.

The first video tells the story of MDRC’s Gueron Scholars Program, which offers paid internships and fellowships for undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students exploring careers in the education and social policy sectors.

The second video tells the story of sectoral job training, which helps low-income workers grow into skilled, high-wage careers—an innovative, evidence-based model that builds on decades of social policy research, much of it conducted by MDRC.

Working with our partners Argonaut Films, Saybrook brought to the development of these videos the same capabilities and convictions that guide all our work, including

  • professional research, which enables us to tell an organization’s story with unparalleled depth and dimension

  • probing interviews with stakeholders, which surface the themes and messages that will resonate most strongly with target audiences

  • stories told through the voices of the people who lived them, which puts a human face to concepts that might otherwise seem inaccessible or impersonal.

Enjoy the two videos—and congratulations to MDRC on 50 years of impact!
